We had travelled from Melbourne to Adelaide and then onto our holiday destination of Kangaroo Island. After six lovely days of exploring we returned to Cape Jervis. Shortly after we drove off the ferry an emergency light came on in the car. Referring the car manual it indicated that this was urgent and to contact the dealer immediately. We realised that it was a public holiday in South Australia and therefore couldn't gain assistance. I phoned Melbourne to our dealer and he was unable to assist over the phone as without undertaking a full diagnostic of the Citroen C4 he couldn't tell us what to do but suggested we take notice of the warning and stay over and find a dealer the following day.

We booked into McLaren Vale and I searched the internet for the nearest dealer. I emailed Malcolm Lawrence of Expressway Automotive, 1/7 Seaford Road, Seaford Meadows SA 5169 that Monday afternoon. Being a public holiday I didn't expect a response, I just wanted to let Malcolm know of our dilemma and that we would be in touch Tuesday morning. To my surprise I received an email back that evening indicating that due to our time line we may be best served by attending one of the branches closer to Adelaide and gave details and contact numbers.

Next morning we started the car and the warning light did not come on. We did however decide to drive the short distance to Expressway Automotive. Malcolm greeted us and immediately did a diagnostic on our car. The issue was resolved within an hour and we were confident in taking the long trip back to Melbourne.

In writing this letter as I wanted to make you aware of the generosity, professionalism, service and support to travelers in need, shown by Malcolm Lawrence. It could have been a completely different experience for us, one that resulted in us being stranded for some time while we were fitted into the busy schedule of the business.
